Wonderful post as always Tim...I liked this so much"Creativity is a self-amplifying force. The more you dive into it, the more creative you’ll become. Your brain will start to rewire, and you’ll be surprised by the new sparks of insight it gives you. It won’t take long before new ideas about what to do with your life begin to appear". I have found this the key in recovery..embracing that creative childlike force within..

Yes. Creativity plus rest can do magic. Still haven't dived into all the nervous system things. But I guess the healing journey in a way is also learning how you can improve your life with simple things and then actually enjoy it....

Beautiful, practical, encouraging, and inspiring. Thank you so much - time to rest, if I can remember how😊🙏🩷

Thank you for your beautiful comment.

If you dont know how to rest, take long walks as much as you can.

Thank you Tim. I used to be known as the best at relaxing. Several factors/experiences in recent years have made it difficult, if not downright impossible. However, this is improving as I make healthy changes - especially in the area of relationship dynamics. I love to walk and still do fairly regularly at 62. I had given up my regular yoga practice for some reason, but hit the mat this morning with a DVD - Yoga for Longevity. Now to remember to BREATHE again 🙏🩷🧘‍♀️ Best wishes Tim 😊🙏🤞

The Void between the past self and the new one, the blank canvas... yes, they were there, exactly as you described!

At first, it was the calmness that comes after a shock or when a storm is over. Nothingness, numbness. Then it was a relief, enjoying this spaciousness after I threw out everything that was blocking my way before. And my voice could be heard, louder than ever, because now it could echo. Then the best part came when I asked myself: "What do you want to do? Not what you have to, but what YOU really WANT". Yes, I had to feel like a child again, that's where the magic was hiding...

Thank you for writing this... it confirms that I'm on the right path.

Welcome, and thank you for your insightful comment.

I hope sometimes it could work without the void as it often feels like a setback.

It does at first, yes. But it's needed. We learned that empty means failure, like nothing is accomplished or like we lost everything and it feels a bit scary. But then it gets better and better.
