I find your desire for Journaling so interesting. Most ppl who do, enjoy a sensory experience that anchors them to their body and slows down the mind's velocity.

Also, It's so natural for all of us to want know ourselves on a deeper level. I personally feel that I've accomplished that with Cognitive Function Theory. MBTI is nice but an unstable behavioral framework. The underlying framework actually explains our subconscious habits via solely perception and cognition, and its stable and deeply revealing.

I think Jung gives convincing reasoning of the 'how' behind how our minds operate, while the Big Five provides the trackeable traits widely associated with specific types and their cognitive modes.

Either way, nice essay & I'd be interested in that test to support. I enjoy exploring this topic.

Brilliant article. I find it fascinating how nowadays more and more of us are turning to AI to find the answers to our inner world, to really understand the truth of who we are has to come from within, no one or thing outside of ourselves can possibly have the answer to that!

You have a point. Ultimately we find the answers within ourselves.

But we may need some guidance to get there.

Sometimes books inspire us to change our perspective. Other times you find out through tests about some of your personality traits, then take a deeper look and try to understand how you got that way.

Those tests helped me re-discover my sensitive nature. Of course it was never fully gone, but I tried my best pushing it away...
