Interesting points. It is a complicated issue, and I too have chosen not to turn AI detection off. If people want to check my writing, that is okay. I write because I like to write, and I do use a grammar checker because I sometimes miss things. I, too, wonder about those writers who turn off the AI checker.
I also use a grammar checker. Even if I occasionally use it to rewrite a sentence it causes zero problems.
What I have noticed is that people who turn off the detections get flagged on several of those scanners. Maybe they are all wrong… who knows…
I just don't buy into that as my experiences are actually quite good with the better scanners. The totally free ones without subscription you can usually forget tho…
